The shining director, always smiling is making foray in to good quality subjects from the response he got from ‘Jo Jo Laali and Jaan Leva 555’ – that is Sandeep Malani for you. He is now with a subject on women empowerment in ‘Sulige Sikkidaga’.


A woman pretty in looks, intelligent has the main drawback of epilepsy in her life. How she faces people in the society at different stages, how she stand on her own leg is well narrated by Sandeep Malani for House of Pandit in ‘Sulige Sikkidaaga’.


Kalpana Pandit producer, actor and famous Bharatanatyam dancer played the lead role, Sandeep Malani organized a special screening of the film at Sri Renukamba Digital theatre on last Saturday.

The short story is written by Kalpana Pandit. Sandeep Malani has directed this short film for his screenplay. The shoot was held in USA and some portion in Bengaluru. Vivek is co actor. Kalpana Pandit parents have also made guest appearance. Santosh Chawla is editor of this short film ‘Sulige Sikkidaaga’.


Sandeep Malani is taking this short film on ‘women empowerment’ to various festivals for competition.
